Research Project

My research fields are nanomaterials, photoluminescence, and polymer composites. During my research period, I have carried out the low-temperature synthesis and luminescence studies of undoped and doped zirconia nanoparticles. My Ph.D. work was focused on understanding the structural, optical, and thermoluminescent properties of rare-earth-doped ZrO₂ nanophosphors, and the thesis was submitted in August 2017 with the title “Low Temperature Synthesis, Characterization and Luminescence Studies of Undoped and Doped Zirconia Nanoparticles.”I have published more than 50 research papers in reputed international journals covering a wide range of materials such as perovskite oxides, phosphates, and conducting polymer composites. My studies include photoluminescence enhancement, thermoluminescent behavior, and radiation effects in oxide-based nanostructures. At present, I am working on semiconductor polymer memory devices and oxide–polymer composites, and have characterized them for sensor, optoelectronic, and energy storage applications.
