Overview

The BBA in Retail Management program is designed to prepare students for dynamic careers in the rapidly evolving retail industry. With the growth of organized retail, e-commerce, and quick-commerce in India, the program blends core business fundamentals with retail-specific knowledge, practical exposure, and industry-relevant skills. The program integrates foundational business knowledge with specialized retail subjects such as store operations, merchandising, omni-channel retailing, and luxury management. It emphasizes practical exposure through case studies, industry projects, retail analytics, and internships. The curriculum blends theory with real-world retail practices to develop future retail leaders and entrepreneurs. The program offers holistic education to empower students to take up responsible managerial positions in organized retail, e-commerce platforms, and FMCG companies.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEO-1

Graduate after successful completion of the Program will be able to make decision and apply suitable quantitative and qualitative techniques in solving business problems.

PEO-2

Graduates after completion of the program will be able to work with diverse teams and are expected to take up Challenging tasks and take better decisions in complex situations.

PEO-3

Graduates will be able to incorporate social, ethical and moral principles in professional and personal life.

Programme Outcomes (POs)

The School of Management studies was established in the year 2014 and BBA – Honors Program commenced in the year 2016, since then the School has defined Program Outcomes for the courses offered during the Board of Studies meeting. Based on the advice and suggestions of the BOS, EIGHT Program Outcomes have been formulated, keeping in view the Vision, Mission and Program Educational Objectives.
