REVA Rise

What is REVA RISE?

REVA RISE (REVA Initiative for Scholastic Excellence) is the flagship Scholarship Aptitude Test conducted by REVA University. It is designed to identify, recognise, and reward meritorious and high-potential students who aspire to pursue Undergraduate or Postgraduate programmes at the University.

Why was REVA RISE introduced?

REVA RISE has been introduced to promote scholastic excellence and make quality higher education more accessible. The initiative aims to support deserving students — including those from rural and under-represented backgrounds — by offering merit-based tuition fee waivers.

Who can apply for REVA RISE?

Students applying for admission to eligible UG or PG programmes at REVA University can register for REVA RISE. It is open to National, NRI, OCI, POI, and international applicants, subject to admission eligibility criteria.

When is the test conducted?

The REVA RISE Scholarship Aptitude Test is conducted annually during April, May, and June. Specific dates and registration details are announced on the University website.

What does the REVA RISE test assess?

The test is designed to evaluate a student’s overall aptitude and academic readiness. It typically includes:

  • Logical and Analytical Reasoning
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Verbal Ability and Comprehension
  • Subject or Stream-Specific Aptitude (where applicable)
  • Problem-solving and applied thinking skills

The focus is on conceptual clarity and reasoning ability rather than rote memorisation.

What are the scholarship benefits under REVA RISE?

Based on performance in the test, students may receive attractive tuition fee waivers. Scholarships are awarded across structured slabs, with exceptional performers eligible for significant concessions — including up to 100% tuition fee waiver for select categories.

Scholarships are applicable to tuition fees only and do not cover hostel, transport, examination, or other ancillary charges.

Are there other scholarships available at REVA University?

Yes. In addition to REVA RISE, the University offers scholarships under multiple categories, including:

  • Merit Scholarships (based on qualifying examination or entrance test performance)
  • Sports Scholarships
  • NCC Scholarships
  • Defence / Paramilitary / Police Scholarships
  • Scholarship for Specially Abled Students
  • Staff Children & Sibling Scholarships
  • Referral Scholarships

Students may avail only one scholarship category as per the University’s One Scholarship Policy.

How are scholarships awarded?

Scholarships are awarded based on eligibility, performance, and availability. Allocation is typically on a first-come, first-served basis under the University Quota. All awards are subject to document verification and compliance with University guidelines.

How can students apply for REVA RISE?

Aspirants can register through the official REVA University website. Detailed instructions, important dates, and guidelines are published on the website for each admission cycle.

REVA RISE for the year 2026 will be held on April 4 and 5, 2026.
