The School of Applied Sciences, Department of Biotechnology, REVA University, in association with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Department of Health Research (DHR), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, is organizing a sponsored five-day hands-on national workshop.
About REVA University

About the Department
The Department of Biotechnology is equipped with advanced laboratories and experienced faculty. It actively engages in research collaborations and has received funding from agencies like DST, DBT, VGST, and ICMR.
About the Workshop
This five-day workshop aims to provide hands-on training and in-depth knowledge on plant bioactive compounds, endophytes, One Health approaches, and combating antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Participants will gain exposure to both theoretical concepts and laboratory techniques addressing global AMR challenges.
Objectives
Understand mechanisms and public health impact of AMR.
Train participants in isolation and characterization techniques.
Promote One Health integration (human, animal, environment).
Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration.
Support innovation and research in AMR solutions.
