Expert Talk on “Next-Generation Electric Drives and Control”

The School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (SoEEE), REVA University, successfully organized an Expert Talk on “Next-Generation Electric Drives and Control” on 11 March 2026 with active participation from students and faculty members. The session aimed to provide insights into advanced electric drive technologies, modern control strategies, and industrial applications of electric drives in automation systems. The talk also focused on bridging the gap between academic concepts and real-world industry practices in drive systems while creating awareness about emerging career opportunities in electric drives, automation, and power electronics. During the session, students gained valuable understanding of advanced drive systems, control techniques, and real-time industrial applications across various engineering sectors. The expert discussion enhanced students’ awareness of current industry trends, technological developments, and future advancements in electric drive and control engineering. The interactive session encouraged students to explore practical applications and career prospects in the field of automation and intelligent control systems. The event concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation and engagement from students.
