Independence Day 2026 Celebrated at RITM, Forbesganj

Rungta Institute of Technology & Management (RITM), Forbesganj, celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India on 15 August 2026 with patriotic spirit, unity and a strong sense of national responsibility.

The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag by Shri Shashi Bhushan Kumar, Deputy Director, at the RITM campus. Students, faculty members and staff participated in the ceremony and paid their respects to the Tricolour. The campus was decorated in the colours of the National Flag, creating a dignified atmosphere for the occasion.

Technology, Management And Nation Building

Addressing the gathering, Principal Shri Dr Rashid Hussain spoke about the role of technology and management education in India's development. He highlighted the importance of knowledge, innovation, responsible management and ethical decision-making in enabling young professionals to contribute positively to society and the nation.

He encouraged students to develop discipline, integrity, creativity, responsibility and a spirit of service, alongside their academic and professional skills.

A cultural programme was organised as part of the celebration. Students participated enthusiastically, expressing patriotic sentiments and reflecting India's rich cultural diversity.

The programme also provided an opportunity to reflect on the values of unity, respect, responsibility and service to the nation.
