The School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, REVA University, continued its efforts towards strengthening industry–institute collaboration through an industrial visit by Dr. Ananda M H and Prof. Doddabasappa N to Mysore Electrical Industries Ltd. (MEI) and Modelyze Labs, Engineering & Skill Development Services Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru. The visit focused on exploring meaningful opportunities for academic collaboration, student engagement, and industry interaction in emerging engineering domains. Mysore Electrical Industries Ltd. (MEI), a reputed organization in the power sector, provided insights into transformer manufacturing, electrical infrastructure development, and industrial practices associated with power systems and equipment. The team also visited Modelyze Labs, an AI-driven construction management platform, where discussions highlighted the application of Artificial Intelligence in project planning, resource optimization, project monitoring, and data-driven decision-making for construction and engineering management. The visit aimed to initiate expert talks by industry professionals, explore internship and placement opportunities for students, promote skill development initiatives, and establish long-term collaborative activities between academia and industry. The interaction offered valuable exposure to current industrial trends and advanced technological applications beneficial for both faculty and students. The School of EEE expressed sincere gratitude to Dr. Raghu C N, Director – SoEEE, for his continuous support and encouragement in facilitating this collaborative initiative successfully.
