The School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, REVA University, successfully organized a Master Class on “Energy: The Ultimate Prize for an Advanced Civilisation” on 10 April 2026 with active participation from around 70 students, including 1st year and 3rd year students. The session was delivered by distinguished resource persons, Mr. Yedu Jathavadhan, Founder & Chairman, and Mr. Nikhil Jain, Founder & CEO of VisionAstra Group, who shared valuable insights into the evolution of energy technologies from steam engines to modern electric vehicles. The speakers highlighted emerging opportunities in battery manufacturing, sustainable energy systems, and India’s growing role in the global energy sector while emphasizing the importance of technical skills, innovation, and industry readiness for future career development. The interactive session encouraged students to explore advancements in energy technologies and understand the significance of clean and sustainable energy solutions for future civilizations. The event received enthusiastic participation from students, making the session highly engaging and informative.
