Outer Space as a Strategic Domain: Contemporary Legal Challenges

The Centre for International Law and Policy, School of Legal Studies, REVA University is organising the REVA Academy on International Space Law - a timely academic initiative examining “Outer Space as a Strategic Domain: Contemporary Legal Challenges.”

This specialised programme brings together leading scholars, practitioners, and policy experts to engage with the rapidly evolving legal and regulatory dimensions of outer space governance.

The course will explore a wide range of thematic areas, including the foundations of international space law and national policies, commercialisation and the new space economy, militarisation and geopolitics of outer space, emerging technologies in space governance, responsibility and liability regimes, space resource governance, as well as critical issues relating to space safety, traffic management, and orbital sustainability.
