27 May 2026
On 27 May 2026, the 3rd Year B.A. LL.B. and B.B.A. LL.B. students participated in an educational visit to a correctional facility as part of the Criminology and Penology course.
The visit provided valuable practical insights into the functioning of the prison system, rehabilitation measures, inmate welfare facilities, and the administration of justice beyond the courtroom.
A meaningful interaction with police and prison officials enabled students to gain a deeper understanding of correctional practices, challenges within the criminal justice system, and the role of institutions in offender rehabilitation.
Experiential learning opportunities such as these play a vital role in enhancing legal education by connecting theoretical concepts with practical realities.
