Reva Run

The NCC Week Celebration 2025 at REVA University was successfully conducted on 29 November 2025 by the NCC Army Wing, 39 Karnataka Battalion, under the able guidance of ANO Capt. M. MuneGowda, Sub. Ranveer Singh, and Hav. Satnam Singh, with the primary objective of promoting discipline, leadership, physical fitness, social responsibility, and national pride among cadets. The program commenced with a formal inauguration by Pro Vice Chancellor Commodore Promod Kulkarni (Retd) and Dr. Madhu B. P., who flagged off the REVA NCC Run, symbolizing perseverance, teamwork, and dedication. A total of 56 cadets, along with 03 alumni cadets, actively participated in the run covering 08 + 08 km up to Akkayyamma Betta, which was followed by the commemoration of 150 years of Vande Mataram and a cleanliness initiative under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, reinforcing civic responsibility and environmental awareness. Post the run, cadets visited the Hosahalli Firing Range, where they gained hands-on experience in various firing positions, basic firing techniques, and participated in a practical demonstration session, thereby enhancing their tactical knowledge and confidence. The entire event provided a comprehensive platform for cadets to combine physical endurance, civic engagement, and practical NCC training, reflecting the core values of discipline, leadership, service, and national pride, while fostering camaraderie and holistic development among the participants.
