Centre for Biotechnology and Molecular Biology Laboratory
REVA University, Bengaluru

Date: 6 – 7 April 2026

Venue: REVA Research Centre, REVA University, Bengaluru

About the Programme

The Two-Day Hands-on Training on Scaling-Up Enzyme Production Using Experimental Design and Response Surface Methodology (SEPRSM-2026) is designed to provide an intensive and practical learning experience in bioprocess optimization and statistical modelling.

The training introduces participants to advanced experimental design strategies and Response Surface Methodology (RSM) used for improving and scaling enzyme production processes from laboratory scale to pilot-scale systems.

Participants will gain hands-on experience in:

Designing experiments using DOE techniques
Multivariate data analysis
Statistical modelling and regression analysis
Response surface and contour plot interpretation
Process optimization for enzyme production
Validation and scale-up strategies for industrial applications

Objectives of the Training

The program aims to:

Introduce the fundamentals of enzyme production and optimization
Provide hands-on exposure to Design of Experiments (DOE)
Train participants in Response Surface Methodology (RSM)
Develop skills in statistical modelling and data interpretation
Demonstrate strategies for scaling enzyme production from lab to pilot scale
