School of EEE Organized LaTeX Workshop Successfully

The School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, REVA University, Bengaluru, successfully organized a one-day hands-on LaTeX Workshop on 11 April 2026 with active participation from 20 attendees. The workshop focused on enhancing technical documentation and research writing skills by covering important topics such as TikZ figure creation, bibliography management, IEEE and Elsevier paper formatting, and professional document preparation using LaTeX. Participants gained practical exposure through interactive hands-on sessions, enabling them to understand advanced formatting techniques and improve their academic and research documentation skills. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Bansilal Bairwa, who served as the expert resource person and guided participants through real-time demonstrations and practical exercises. The session received positive feedback from all participants, who expressed satisfaction with the learning outcomes and hands-on experience provided during the program. The successful organization of the workshop was made possible through the continuous support and encouragement of the Director Sir, School of EEE, whose guidance contributed significantly to the smooth conduct of the event. The workshop reflected the School of EEE’s commitment towards promoting research-oriented learning and technical skill development among students and faculty members.
