The School of EEE had organized a seminar on “Commutation Techniques of SCR” on 11th March, 2019 between 10:50 AM to 12:30 PM in Kalpana Chawla, Seminar Hall, C V Raman Block for the students of 4th sem, A & C sec, School of EEE.
The seminar on was delivered by Dr. B.P Divakar, DEAN, R & I, REVA University.
The Seminar on focused on the following key points:
1. Dynamic Characteristics of SCR
2. Commutation of SCR
3. Need of commutation circuit
4. Types of commutation
5. Commutation Failure
6. Analysis of commutation circuit

1. Understanding the characteristics of SCR

3. Understanding the types and issues of commutation techniques
4. Students will be able to analyse the commutation circuit
