The School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (SoEEE), REVA University, successfully organized a seminar on “Mobile Application Development for Smart Electrical and IoT Applications” on 7 April 2026. The session was conducted by Dr. Guruprasad Y. K., Professor and Head of the Department, Department of CSE (Cyber Security), SVCE, Bengaluru, who delivered an insightful talk on the development of mobile applications for smart electrical systems and IoT-based technologies. The seminar provided students with valuable exposure to emerging trends, real-world applications, and career opportunities in the field of mobile app development and IoT integration. Students actively participated throughout the session, engaging enthusiastically in discussions and interactions with the resource person. The participants appreciated the informative nature of the seminar and expressed strong interest in future hands-on training programs to gain practical implementation experience. The session enhanced students’ understanding of smart electrical systems, IoT applications, and the growing demand for innovative mobile solutions in engineering domains.
