As part of the experiential learning initiatives of the School of Commerce, REVA University, a field visit to Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru, was organized for the First Semester B.Com students of Sections C, D, and E on 20th August 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The visit provided students with practical exposure to the functioning of the Legislative Assembly and helped them connect classroom concepts related to democracy, governance, representation, and civic responsibility with real-world practices.
The students were accompanied by Prof. Jinu Mathew, Dr. Saravanan L G, and Prof. Shreekritha, who guided and supervised them throughout the visit. Students had the opportunity to observe the Legislative Assembly proceedings and understand parliamentary procedures, formal communication, discipline, and decorum.
