“World Consumer’s Rights Day” - FAIR DIGITAL FINANCE

School of Management Studies organized the Interschool Debate Competition in collaboration with SAMVRUDDHI – FINANCE CLUB on 15th of March, Tuesday 2022. The event was conducted on the occasion of WORLD CONSUMER’S RIGHTS DAY where nearly 50 students from BBA/H/E -VI, IV, Finance specialization and 30 students from II Semester has participated from different schools to showcase their talents. All the participants were extraordinarily skilled. Everyone could see the future leaders in the contestants. The session was very encouraging and motivating for all the participated students. The debate competition was held between different departments. Each department has represented by two teams.

All the participants were students with equal calibre and potential but in the end, some stood out shining brighter than the others. The topics for the competition was

• “Banking on the Future: An Exploration of FinTech and the Consumer Interest”
• “Digital financial services have created new risks – Agree or Disagree”
• “Consumer risks have increased in recent years as the COVID-19 pandemic have enhanced these risks, where vulnerable consumers are more fragile due to economic hardship – Comment.”

There were many notable points presented by each of team, but the point presented by the winning team was the game-changer. The competition was a huge success. The first prize was won by Team 3: Hari Haran and team. Second Prize was won by Team 2: Gowtham Reddy and team.
