Research Project

My research fields are Semiconductor thin films and polymer composites. During my research period I have carried out irradiation of prepared semiconductor thin films. Irradiation experiments were carried out in Microtron centre Mangalore, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai and Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC) Delhi. I have completed my research work in the year 2009 and submitted the thesis in May 2012 with the title “Irradiation studies on CdTe and ZnTe semiconductor thin films”. The Ph.D. degree was awarded in 2014. At present I am working on polymer composites. I have also characterized them for sensor and battery applications.
