Dr. Sridevi Polasi’s research focuses on the field of Operations Research, with a special emphasis on Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) techniques such as AHP, Goal Programming and Fuzzy Goal Programming. Her work addresses complex real-world optimization problems involving multiple, often conflicting objectives under uncertainty.
To complement the theoretical modeling, Dr. Polasi employs Python and R for simulation, data analysis, and algorithmic implementation. Her computational work explores the synergy between Artificial Intelligence (AI) methods—such as machine learning and intelligent optimization—and classical mathematical programming models, leading to more adaptive and data-driven decision-support systems.
Her ongoing research contributes to the interdisciplinary integration of Operations Research, Data Science, and AI, aiming to provide sustainable and intelligent solutions to modern optimization challenges in both industrial and academic domains.
